The shading is printed on the paper, creating a subtle illusion of depth without any protruding surfaces.

Please Note: Text on the map can be difficult to read due to the small font size and the age of the map. In areas where the relief shading covers the text, the underlying text is not legible. We suggest the largest size map for better details though the text may still be covered in the darker areas.

We use real Walnut for our frames, unlike the lesser quality veneer you will typically find elsewhere. With beautiful hardwood grain, each is handmade to order at a professional frame shop.

    I love this work.

    My house feels like a museum of natural history, or the club house of some great scientific explorers club. I am very familiar with the maps and love finding a places I have been.

    LOVE THIS MAP

    I love this map. I first saw this in a rock and souvenir shop in Llano, Texas. (Don't know if it was an original or a reprint.) They wouldn't sell it. I googled it. Couldn't find it anywhere. Then I saw your ad on Facebook about a year later. I was exactly what I wanted. High quality and detailed. I will frame it.

    You could probably sell a LOT of these maps in Llano. The red center of the map, which looks like a bullseye, represents a geological anomaly known as the Llano Uplift. This, of course, gives rise to the quite unusual terrain around Llano. And that terrain has led to a lot of tourist activity.

    Lone star joins northern companion

    Delighted with this map…..took it and a similar Michigan map to be framed and hung in my study…..the two states where my family has spent most of our lives.

    The re-bought gift.

    We loved it. It’s at the framers now, getting framed. It was originally bought for us by our son, but it got damaged and we didn’t want to hurt his feelings, so we bought it again. He’ll never know!
