We created this map with the illusion of 3D by applying Digital Elevation Data and meticulously adding shaded relief to the landscape of the original 1962 Carte Tectonique Internationale De L'Eutope Geological map. The shading is printed on the paper and not a result of the map protruding from the surface.
Bathymetry - the added terrain under sea level was created with data derived from Sonar imaging. Due to the inherent limitations of the data collection process, there are some areas that lack complete data resulting in lines and errors appearing on the Seafloor. These errors are part of the original data and not something we are able to manipulate or fix.
Please Note: Text on the map can be difficult to read due to the small font size and the age of the map. In areas where the relief shading covers the text, the underlying text is not legible. We suggest the largest size map for better details though the text may still be covered in the darker areas.

The map is wonderful. The guy who frame it said that were years that he hasn't seen a map with a great paper like it. I live in Italy. The only thumb down is related to how much the custom charge me. I wasn't aware of it but it's my fault.

I have bought this map because it is only one fully covering Georgia. However, th e whole region is covered with dark shadow and I can not see almost anything (writings are also part of the art ,because it is impossible to read anything e.g. legend). I have installed a frame and glass covering myself. Overall great product. Looking forward to see my country in a bigger map from the author. Thank you!

The print itself was very nice and I could tell that the paper was of very high quality, But this is a bit too expensive for my taste and finding a frame for this without breaking the bank was tough since the dimensions are not standard in Europe.

I think it's great! A little hard to read the text at the size I picked (24x20) but I'm guessing it scales up well. Would definitely think about purchasing again, although shipping and customs is a bit expensive for me as a european.
